the canadianings, not a very good memory and that is game 7 and lost to the 8th seat canadiens at verizon center and they didn't practice this morning and all are expected to play tonight against montreal. the caps won two of the last three games and lost a shootout for the penguins and while the winter classic is only four days away, the focus is on montreal and bruce boudreau made that clear this morning for the montreal press. >> they had a miserable summer, thanks to you guys, and you know, that is in the back of our minds, obviously, and i think if this was a week ago, our confidence would be low and they're starting to come out of it that way. they have had the success of winning a couple of games. >> regarding the winter classic, still expected for the pittsburgh area around noon on saturday and if that holds up, the game could be moved from the 1:00 start to later in the afternoon and on in that evening or on sunday. the rain could effect the ice and impair the vision of players, specifically ones that wear a shield and in that military bowl is maryland against east carolina and rfk. the

of the british, the canadiens, and some of the others has been that in their surveys prior to enacting a change in their laws and rules, there were substantial numbers who said that they would leave. in the event, those numbers were far smaller than the surveys have indicated. i go back to the point that people who have had experience who have serve with gays and lesbians have a different view of these things and i think that will be true of many of our force. i think the training and so on will help me get these consequences. frankly, while there are concerns that you will probably hear tomorrow about some of our special operations forces where there are limited numbers of people and where any loss is potentially of concern for the force as a whole, i don't think any of us expect that the numbers would be anything like what the survey suggests based on experience. you also have the reality that they can't just up and leave. they have enlistment contract. the officers of contracts in terms of the amount of time they have to serve. it is not like they can say they can get out of there. they will
